This will help bring about change in India through encouraging and offering help to improve anti-trafficking laws, increase the effectiveness of enforcing these laws, meet higher standards in protecting and caring for victims, as well as initiatives to transform communities and change attitudes in society. Your money will be sent to India where our partners will use it where it is most needed in our range of education, healthcare, economic development and legal advocacy initiatives, directly helping to prevent trafficking, care for victims or bring perpetrators to justice. ‘Help Us Help Them Help Themselves’ is a means of using your giving strategically to fund both our work in the UK to grow the campaign and on-the-ground projects in India. All giving in this stream will be split 50/50 between the UK and India. This means you are making a real difference now and at the same time you are generating more funds and support in the future.
