Traditionally Christmas is a time for giving – whether that’s presents to loved ones or donating to charities. This Christmas, you can make life better for India’s Dalits who are most at risk of being trafficked into the sex trade, beggar gangs, bonded labour, ritualised prostitution or abusive domestic service.

There are many different ways you can do this: sending e-Christmas cards and donating what you save, buying presents online through a percentage donation scheme, using a charity credit card to benefit DFN, or buying bracelets to remind people of Dalit trafficking.

Donate money saved by sending Christmas eCards

Your Christmas greetings could make a difference to DFN UK this year. Simply set up a Virgin Money Giving ‘Click a Christmas Wish’ fundraising page with Dalit Freedom Network UK as your chosen charity, send your friends and family an e-card and donate the money you would have spent on cards and stamps to DFN UK. Hopefully, it will inspire your friends and family too as they can also make a donation to your ‘Click a Christmas Wish’ page instead of buying you a card.

Give as you shop online
